FM Equipment

Personal Frequency modulation (FM) systems are a type of wireless systems that operates like a miniature radio station. It usually consists of a transmitter microphone used by the speaker (such as speaker at a lecture, or a teacher) and a receiver used by the listener. The receiver transmits the sound to the ears via a set of headsets or if you are wearing a hearing aid, directly to the hearing aid.

The receiver can also be connected to your cochlear implant if you are using one.

Useful in a variety of situations, it helps you understand speech better in noisy environment and allows you to focus more on understanding the speech rather than just trying to hear the conversation. This is particularly helpful for kids who are trying to pay attention in a classroom setting.
