In-The-Ear (ITE)

  • Microphone positioned in concha

In-The-Canal (ITC)

  • Electronic completely inside a custom shell
  • Microphone positioned more deep in concha
    • More natural position than in BTEs
  • Receiver is placed deep inside the tip close to eardrum
  • Reduced space for manual controls
  • fits mild, moderate & moderately sever hearing losses
  • More cosmetic compared to ITE

Completely-In-Canal (CIC)

  • Electronic completely inside a custom shell
  • Microphone positioned more deep inside the ear canal
    • Most natural position to pick up sounds

  • Receiver is placed deep inside the tip close to eardrum

Bone Conduction Hearing Instruments

Bone Conduction with Headband

  • if conventional hearing instrument styles as BTE and ITE cannot be used
    • Atresia, microtia, discharging ears
  • Inner Ear function should be normal
  • BC changes the electric signal coming from a microphone into mechanical vibrations
    • Vibrations are transmitted via bone to the Inner Ear
  • Headband suitable for children & adults

Bone Conduction Eyeglass

  • if conventional hearing instrument styles as BTE and ITE cannot be used
    • Atresia, microtia, discharging ears
  • Inner Ear function should be normal
    • BC changes the electric signal coming from a microphone into mechanical vibrations
  • Vibrations are transmitted via bone to the Inner Ear
